"I come from the sea," says Donatella Moica.

A simple phrase that holds a world of islands, wind, and hard work.

Donatella is not just the successful entrepreneur behind Macana Maldives or an esteemed coach; she is a woman who learned that freedom is built day by day.

Collaborating with her in my Florence Atelier was an exercise in visual storytelling.

For Donatella, doing business means taking responsibility for a more humane future.

We chose to include a specific image in the session, the one you see above: her lying down, legs against the wall, and arms wide open. It’s not just a pose; for her, it has become the symbol of "thinking out of the box", an invitation to look at the world from a different perspective to find new and authentic solutions.

The photos we created are fragments of a journey between leadership and deep roots, capturing the courage of someone "who has traveled to understand and returned to give their contribution", as she so wisely explains. Here I share some of her photos with you.

As a little gift, I have included a very feminine portrait of her, wearing an evening dress with a golden chain on her back. Because we always mix it up in the studio - celebrating who we have become ;)
